1. It’s kinda cringe watching ppl comment on FB to any Haunting of Hill House post how they were bored and not scared at all and how lame they found the series. Like ok, u a tough bitch, boi. Have a cookie and relax, goddamn.

2. I wonder what it feels like to not be exotified with every new interaction. It’s becoming genuinely depressing. And it’s not just white ppl, btw. Also: I fucking hate being asked about why I wear a headscarf. It’s such a deeply personal question, because you’re essentially asking for me to explain my mental and emotional space that led me to making that decision a few years ago. It’s none of your damn business why someone latches on to a religious or cultural item.

3. I don’t think I’ll be writing oneshots anymore, considering how much effort they take, without that many people reading them in the end. So basically I might as well hold onto oneshot ideas and see if they can someday become longer fics, if I am still interested in writing fics after ITTR and TTN.

4. One of my really good friends (who’s like, legit one of the kindest people I know) is coming to stay at my place for a few days next week, and I honestly can’t wait.

5. I almost bought a tea-themed xmas calendar today. I might still buy it, because I like the idea so much.
